If you prefer to spend the day enjoying the scenery from your canoe, check out Terrace and La Jara Reservoirs. Both make for an easy scenic boat ride. Don't forget to throw out your line before you leave.

Pack a lunch, grab the camera, lets go for a drive!  Whether you take the jeep to hills or cruise the scenic byways. There are endless scenic routes to take.

 

Before heading to the hills, be sure you have the appropriate gear and maps. The weather here can change quickly.

GREAT SAND DUNES NAT'L PARK

Go sledding down the largest sand dunes in North America, then cool off in Medano Creek.

Head to Great Sand Dunes National Park.

Take a ride back in time on the historic Cumbres & Toltec Railway.
